Arizona State's Hairston, USC's Edwards are Dick Howser Trophy National Players of the Month
The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has named its Dick Howser Trophy Players of the Month for March presented by The Game Headwear, tabbing Arizona State sophomore infielder Landon Hairston as its National Hitter of the Month and USC junior left-handed pitcher Mason Edwards as the National Pitcher of the Month.
USC'S MARK PRIOR CHOSEN AS 15TH RECIPIENT OF DICK HOWSER TROPHY
Mark Prior, who dominated NCAA Division I pitching statistics and who led Southern California to the 2001 NCAA World Series, has been named as 15th recipient of the prestigious Dick Howser Trophy as college baseball player of the year.
